Round 2 of the 2019 Turkish Karting Championship was held at the Bursa Nilüfer Karting Track on 6-7 April. Organised by the Bursa Professional Motorsport Club, abbreviated to OTOSK, with the support of Nilüfer Municipality, the weekend produced closely fought racing in every class. Over the two days, competitors contested three races in each of four classes, while drifting demonstrations by Abbas Çimen and Örge Pamukçu added colour to the event.
Favourites Untroubled at NilüferIn the Mini class, Hakkı Dorum won all three races to finish the second meeting of the season on top, with Emir Tanju taking second and Batı Ege Yıldırım third.

In Formula Junior, the battle at the top was once again between Ömer Asaf Kolot and Yiğit Arslan, as it had been in the opening round of the season. National team driver Ömer Asaf Kolot took two wins and a second place to claim the top step of the podium once more, while Yiğit Arslan scored two second places and a win to end the weekend runner-up. Third place in Junior went to Kerim Sulyak, followed by Utku Levent Türkay.
Favourites Untroubled at NilüferIn Formula Senior, which had the biggest entry with eight drivers, Ali Ehad Türker won all three races to take his second class win of the season. Kerem Kahraman finished second at Nilüfer, while Zekai Özen took the final podium place. Behind the three podium finishers came Tayfun Uzun, Ayda Biter, Fahrettin Çak, Mert Yudulmaz and Ali Korkmaz, in that order.

In Formula Master, the veterans' class in which only two drivers started, Mehmet Yaman finished first and Mehmet Çınar second. After the racing, Nilüfer Mayor Turgay Erdem, who had experienced the thrill of drifting in the passenger seat of Abbas Çimen's car, TOSFED Bursa Provincial Representative Mitat Ülküden, Bursa Professional Motorsport Club President Recep Yakut and vice-president Ayhan Sarsıcı presented the awards to the class podium finishers at the prize-giving ceremony.

The 2019 Turkish Karting Championship continues with round three in Uşak on 18-19 May.
