The Fight Moves to Istanbul

Round 5 of the 2017 Turkish Rally Championship, the ITO Istanbul Rally, will be held on 8-10 September by the Istanbul Automobile Sports Club, known as İSOK. Run on the Anatolian side of Istanbul under the title sponsorship of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the event is supported by Intercity Istanbul Park, İPOP, Tuzla Municipality, Spor Toto, Mirsan, Fora Vehicle Tracking Systems and T.T.O.K.
The rally begins on Friday 8 September with administrative and technical scrutineering. After the recce, which runs from 09:00 to 18:00, crews who wish to do so can take part in a test session from 18:00 to 20:00 to make final adjustments to their cars.
On the first day, Saturday 9 September, the start will be given at İPOP at 13:00. Crews will tackle the 16.15 km Mudarlı and 10.97 km Darlık special stages twice each, before competing from 18:27 on the 3.24 km gravel İPOP spectator stage at Istanbul Park, which will complete the opening day of the rally.
On the final day, Sunday 10 September, the action resumes from 10:30 on the Esenceli (9.46 km) and Göçbeyli (14.13 km) stages. After both stages have been run twice, the tough battle will conclude with the Redbull.com Power Stage (bonus stage) at 15:00. On the final stage, crews will play their cards to finish in the top three of the overall classification and their classes and take extra points into the championship, before the ITO Istanbul Rally comes to an end on the finish podium at İPOP from 16:00.
