Rally Marmaris, the final round of the Balkan Rally Cup within the European Rally Cup, will take place on 20-22 October around Ula and Marmaris in Muğla. Organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation with the support of Anex Tour, Spor Toto, RedBull.com, Camp David, Autoclub, Fora, GETOB and Power FM, the event is backed by the Muğla Governorship, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, Ula Municipality, Marmaris Municipality and Muğla Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports . Including the crews entered in the national classification, a total of 48 cars and 96 competitors will take part in the rally, with drivers from Bulgaria and Southern Cyprus also on the start list.Countdown Begins for Rally MarmarisThe Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) will stage the rally, which begins with a start ceremony at 19 Mayıs Youth Square in Marmaris at 20:00 on Friday 20 October. The event will be enlivened by a free Ece Seçkin concert ahead of the start, while on Saturday and Sunday Marmaris Municipality will provide free spectator transfers to the stages.

On the first day of the rally, Saturday 21 October, the Ayhan Tokyay, Mustafa Koç and Ali Sipahi stages in the Çetibeli and Ula areas will be run. On the second day, Sunday 22 October, the Renç Koçibey, Lemi Tanca, Yusuf Aramacı and redbull.com stages, located in Asparan, Hisarönü, Bördübet and Yeşilbelde, will be tackled. Comprising 13 gravel special stages covering around 205 kilometres, the rally will see crews cover 610 kilometres over two days before finishing the demanding event at 19 Mayıs Youth Square at 16:30 on Sunday 22 October. During the rally, the service park in Asparan will host a Retro Rally display featuring legendary rally cars, as well as simulators, food and clothing stands, and activities for children.Countdown Begins for Rally MarmarisStaged this year as a candidate event for the World Rally Championship, the rally will be attended by observers and officials from various European countries appointed by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), along with engineers and managers from the WRC manufacturer teams… The teams will come to Rally Marmaris, which acts as a dress rehearsal for the WRC this year, to carry out detailed inspections and gather the information needed for 2018, getting preparations under way already…
