Rally Antiphellos Set to Blow Into Kaş

Transanatolia Rally Raid, one of Turkey's first and toughest motorsport events, opens its season with a new adventure: Rally Antiphellos will take place in Kaş from 27-30 April 2017.

The event will begin on Thursday 27 April with a ceremonial start following scrutineering. Starting from the centre of Kaş, the field will make its way through the historic sights in and around the town, covering a total of 500 kilometres over three days before finishing back in the centre of Kaş, where it began.

Open to motorcycles, ATV-SSVs and 4x4 vehicles that meet the technical and safety requirements, the event will see participants compete over demanding terrain. It will be based around a single camp area, passing through different parts of the Antalya-Kaş region over three days and finishing at the same point at the end of each day.

Rally Antiphellos is also one of the three rounds of the Mediterranean Off-road Cup. Competitors who take part in it, in the Afrodisia Rally in Cyprus and in Baja Anatolia in Seydikemer will have the chance to win the grand prize of an entry to Transanatolia Rally Raid.

Rally Antiphellos aims to contribute to the promotion and economy of the country through motorsport tourism, hosting many Turkish and foreign competitors. It will take place with tyre supply from BF Goodrich for the competitors, along with many other forms of organisational support.
