Green Flag to Wave at Körfez
The 2017 Turkish Karting Championship gets under way with Round 1 at the TOSFED Körfez Yaris Circuit on 6-7 May...
The opening round will consist of three races for each of four separate categories: Formula Mini, open to competitors aged 7-12, Formula Junior for those aged 13-16, Formula Senior for those aged 15 and over, and Formula Master for those aged 32 and over.
On Saturday 6 May, practice runs from 09:30 to 12:00, followed by qualifying from 13:00 to 14:00. The first races will then follow, with Formula Junior at 14:25, Mini at 15:00, and Formula Senior and Master at 15:30.
On Sunday 7 May, after practice from 09:30 to 11:00, the second races will be run, with Formula Junior at 11:25, Mini at 12:00, and Formula Senior and Master at 12:30. Following the third races, with Formula Junior at 13:55, Mini at 14:30, and Formula Senior and Master at 15:00, the event will conclude with the prize-giving ceremony at 16:15.
