Karting Season Opener Heads to Körfez

The 2015 karting season gets under way with the opening round, organised by the Turkish Motorsports Federation at the Körfez Karting Circuit on 28-29 March. Besides the Turkish Karting Championship (TKŞ), the season opener will also host the Rotax Max Challenge (RMC) races.
Excitement at its Peak over Three Races
Round 1 of the six-round Turkish Karting Championship features the Mini, Formula Junior, Formula Senior and Formula Master classes. Mini will race over 15 laps, Formula Junior over 20 laps, and Formula Senior and Formula Master over 24 laps, across three races. Qualifying and Race 1 for all classes will take place on Saturday 28 March, with Races 2 and 3 on Sunday 29 March.
RMC with DD2 Geared Engines
The geared engines, which first raced in the Rotax Max Challenge special cup last year, will be back on track again this year. RMC Turkey 2015 will be run with 32 hp two-speed Rotax DD2 engines. Made up of six rounds and 18 races in total, the winners of the senior and masters classes in RMC Turkey will represent Turkey at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final.
