Karting Round Two at Akyazı

Round two of the 2016 Turkish Karting Championship will be organised by İKOK (Istanbul Karting and Automobile Club) on 1 May 2016 at the Akyazı Kenan Sofuoğlu Race Track.

The programme begins at 09:00 with scrutineering and, following a qualifying session, three races will be run in each category.

After the round one races at the Körfez Track, the points gaps between the drivers are small. The competitors also showed they mean business in their practice sessions at the Akyazı track ahead of round two.

Formula Mini (ages 7-12) ...........3x11 laps = 33 laps
Formula Junior (ages 13-16) ...... 3x14 laps = 42 laps
Formula Senior (over 15) ... 3x16 laps = 48 laps
Formula Master (over 32) ... 3x16 laps = 48 laps
