İzel Karasu Put Forward for Karting Academy

FIA Women in Motorsport (the FIA Women's Commission) and CIK-FIA have decided to support young female competitors aged 13-15 in a joint project. One female competitor, selected from the names put forward by the federations of each FIA member country, will get the chance to race in the 2016 FIA Karting Academy.
One competitor, chosen from candidates born between 2001 and 2003 who have a motorsport career, will compete in the 2016 season at the FIA Karting Academy rounds: Essay in France on 21-24 April, Portimão in Portugal on 24-26 June and Kristianstad in Sweden on 2-4 September.
TOSFED has nominated 2001-born karting driver İzel Karasu as Turkey's candidate for the project. As last year, Mert Dalkıran will represent Turkey at the 2016 FIA Karting Academy.
