Alakoç Crowned Master of Istanbul

The 43rd Istanbul Rally, the seventh and final round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2023 Turkish Rally Championship, ended with victory for the Cem Alakoç-Aras Dinçer crew from GP Garage My Team. Competing in a Skoda Fabia R5, Alakoç claimed a meaningful win by taking the rally on which the driver bowed out of competition.
Of the 43 crews that started the rally, 28 made it to the finish, with Burak Çukurova-Burak Akçay of BC Vision Motorsport taking second and Uğur Soylu-Şener Güray of GP Garage My Team, supported by EVOFONE, finishing third.
The rally was organised by the Istanbul Automobile Sports Club (İOSK) with the support of ICRYPEX, Otokoç, Koç Finans, Sardunya, T.T.O.K. and the Şile Municipality. Uğur Soylu won the Master drivers' category, while Castrol Ford Team Türkiye took the manufacturers' title and GP Garage My Team won the teams' title.
The two-wheel-drive and Class 5 win went to Tuncer Sancaklı-Asena Sancaklı of BC Vision Motorsport, with Asena Sancaklı also taking the female co-drivers' title.
Eytan Halfon-Can Hergüner of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye secured the Class 4 win, while the Class N victory went to the Kemal Şener-Göktuğ Tuncay crew from GP Garage My Team.
