Turkish karting driver Berkay Besler added another success to his international record at the weekend. Berkay claimed victory in round four of the International Belgian Max Challenge in Belgium, capping a superb performance with the win and retaining the overall lead of the championship.

At the Genk circuit, Berkay Besler set the fastest time in qualifying with a 55.922, earning pole position for the first final. In a demanding race, the Turkish driver finished third behind Jonathan Hoggard and Noah Rovers. Starting the second final from that position, Berkay won with a time of 15.11.401, ahead of Max Timmermans and Jonathan Hoggard. In the third and last final, the Turkish driver took second behind Max Timmermans, with Lars Lamborelle third. With this result Berkay Besler collected 157 points and another win, while Noah Rovers, on 149 points, and Max Timmermans, on 147 points, took second and third places in the standings.

Arriving in Belgium as the overall leader, Berkay was involved in a race that was a true psychological battle. Beyond the pace on display, the driver's ability to keep concentration and stay disciplined throughout showed once again that Berkay is ready for F4, in which the driver will represent Turkey next season.

After the Genk race, Berkay Besler continues to lead on a total of 573 points and, following the X30 European Championship title, has moved very close to the International Belgian Max Challenge title as well.
