ExTrail Draws Big Crowds

Notable for its demanding course, the DOSD ExTrail Race was held on 13-14 August 2016 in the village of Ahmetli in Şile, organised by the DOSD Şile Nature Sports Club, with 19 vehicles and 38 competitors taking part.

The event earned top marks from spectators and turned into a tremendous visual spectacle. For the first time in Turkey, the two-stage race was run over 2 days with a single vehicle, on a 2 km course made up of 50 gates (obstacles) in total, and produced some fiercely contested moments.

After two days of adrenaline-filled racing, Tolga Yılmaz-Ejder Erişti in car number 15 took the win at the end of the second day, with Kubilay Tüfekçi-Orhan Doğan in number 14 second and Adnan Ofluoğlu-Selçuk Akan in number 8 third.
