Toughest Trial Event Held at Ayancık

The opening round of the 2017 Turkish Trial Championship was organised by the Karabük Off-road Club, known by its abbreviation KARDOFF, in the Ayancık district of Sinop.
Starting at 12.00 on Saturday 22 April, the event produced breathtaking battles over two days at Akgöl on Mount Çangal in the Ayancık district. Suddenly changing weather brought spring and winter together, and competitors and spectators endured difficult moments under heavy snowfall on the second day.
AVC Team-Osmanlı Offroad took the win, with Adnan Ofluoğlu-Selçuk Akan in a Toyota and Oğuz Kaan Öztürk-Emin Ali Özgedik in a purpose-built buggy named Abartürk, while Temesist Offroad Team finished second with Ender Altuntaş-Mehmet Özdemir in a Jeep Cherokee and Ersin Yıldız-Yasin Yıldız in a Jeep CJ8.
The second round of the 2017 Turkish Trial Championship will be organised by the Bursa Alternative Sports Club (BASK) in the Balat Forest area of Bursa on 20-21 May.
