Women Take Podium Places with Skill and Determination

Women were once again the colourful faces on the podium at the Black Sea Local Off-road Cup Round 1 in Ordu. The "Kız Gibi Offroad" competitors came through from a class of eight male rivals to reach the podium.

Taking third place in Class 3, which had the biggest entry of the event, the Kız Gibi Offroad competitors Nurcan BARÇIN ŞATIR and Rümeysa Hilal KÖKSAL once again showed the strength of women in the sport. They repeated their slogan "Elimizin Hamuruyla Her Yerdeyiz" ("We Are Everywhere with Our Own Two Hands") by raising the trophy on the podium at the end of the day.

We congratulate the Kız Gibi Offroad drivers on this result in the toughest class of a local event, and we also share our wish, and our delight, at seeing more women in national events.
