TransAnatolia, Turkey's most prestigious rally raid on the international stage, will be held for the 15th time between 30 August and 6 September 2025. Regarded as one of the toughest races in the world with its 2,190-kilometre route, the event will start from Bursa for the first time this year.

Izmir-based veteran rally driver Mithat Diker and his experienced co-driver Erdal Oral are gripped by the excitement of the event as they prepare to take part in the TransAnatolia rally raid for the third time. Mithat Diker has long been a familiar name to amateur and professional motorsport fans in the Turkish rally community. Behind the wheel of a wide variety of cars, including the Peugeot 208 R2, Ford Escort Cosworth, Fiat Palio Kit Car, Ford Escort RS 2000 and Suzuki Swift, Diker has started in countless rallies.

Having competed in rallying every season without a break for 53 years, Mithat Diker holds a record that will be very hard to beat. Since the day of entering motorsport, the veteran rally driver has followed a passion behind the wheel, and will tackle the route in the cars category in a Suzuki Grand Vitara prepared in the Becce Motorsport garage. The Mithat Diker-Erdal Oral pairing's main goals are to see the chequered flag and, of course, to reach the podium.

TransAnatolia will pass through Kütahya, Bilecik, Eskişehir, Afyon, Ankara, Konya, Aksaray, Niğde, Nevşehir, Kayseri, Yozgat, Çorum, Kastamonu and Çankırı before reaching Bolu. The race will cross 17 provinces and 58 districts.

Veteran Rally Driver Returns to TransAnatolia

More than 100 competitors from Turkey as well as Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Romania, Great Britain, France and the Netherlands will test their physical and mental endurance on the demanding stages.
