Drift Championship Kicks Off in Izmir

The 2016 Turkish Drift Championship – Apex Masters opens its season with the first round in Izmir on Sunday 17 April. Around 25 drivers are set to take part in the event at Izmir Park Circuit, which is expected to be another thrilling occasion this year.
As part of the event, spectators will have the chance to meet the drivers in the paddock area at 11:30 on Sunday 17 April. In addition, a free Apex Masters promotional booklet will be handed out to everyone at the circuit entrance. After the presentation of the Top 16 drivers, the action will get under way with the start at 14:00.
The championship will consist of four rounds this year. The second round will be held in Istanbul on 29 May in the car park of the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, and the third round at İzmit Körfez Circuit on 4 August. The season finale will take place at Intercity Istanbul Park on 22 October.
