Dalkıran Selected for FIA Karting Academy

Young national karting driver Mert Dalkıran has earned the right to represent Turkey in this season's CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy. Having already achieved a number of strong results at national and international level, Dalkıran follows Berkay Besler and Yiğit Çetin in 2015 to become the third Turkish driver to take part in this demanding contest.

In the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, where Besler finished third last season, drivers nominated by their national federations compete over six races in three different countries. This high-level championship, which pits drivers aged between 13 and 15 from 24 different nations against each other, is held at three international karting circuits in Belgium, Italy and France.

Mert Dalkıran will make his first start in the series at the Zuera circuit in Spain on 22-24 May, before competing in Belgium on 9-12 July and completing the series in France on 10-13 September.

We wish our young driver every success in this challenging contest.
