Happy Ending at Cyprus Rally

The Cyprus Rally, the final round of the 2016 European Rally Championship, ended with Castrol Ford Team Türkiye crews taking the top three places in the ERC3 class.

Murat Bostancı-Onur Vatansever, contesting their seventh round of the European Championship this season, won the rally in their class. The other crews competing for Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, Buğra Banaz-Burak Erdener in second and Ümitcan Özdemir-Sedat Bostancı in third, filled the remaining podium places.
On the final day, in the closing stage known as the "Golden Stage", which carried a cash prize, Bostancı-Vatansever won among the two-wheel-drive cars, with Banaz-Erdener second and Özdemir-Bostancı third.

Following this rally, Murat Bostancı finished third in the ERC3 class of the European Rally Championship, while Onur Vatansever was crowned ERC3 co-drivers' champion, moving the crew a step closer to their goal of a European title. Castrol Ford Team Türkiye also won the ERC3 teams' championship, beating German and British teams to claim a major success.
