Important Corner on the Road to the Championship

Castrol Ford Team Türkiye will compete with two crews in Barum Czech Rally Zlín, Round 6 of the European Rally Championship, to be held in the Czech Republic on 25-27 August.

One of the toughest events of the championship, with 152 crews competing, 29 of them in R5 cars, the rally will see Castrol Ford Team Türkiye represented by the crew of Murat Bostancı-Onur Vatansever in a Fiesta R5 and by the crew of Buğra Banaz-Burak Erdener in a Fiesta R2T.After the ceremonial start in the centre of Zlín at 16:00 on Friday evening, 25 August, the 9.51-kilometre spectator stage will be run over three laps from 21:30. On Saturday 26 August, the rally's first leg begins at 08:00 and, after eight stages, finishes in the service park at 21:00, while the second leg begins at 07:30 on Sunday and, after six stages, ends on the podium in Zlín's town square at 16:00.
With the points scored up to this event, the Buğra Banaz-Burak Erdener crew leads the championship in the two-wheel-drive ERC3 class, 10 points ahead of British rival Chris Ingram. Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, which turned its sights on the European Rally Team Championship with the start of the 2017 season, also leads the teams' championship on 128 points, ahead of Opel Rallye Junior Team.
