Çebi Makes Fast Start to Season

National female karting driver Ayşe Çebi kicked off her 2024 season last weekend at the Andrea Margutti Trophy in Lonato, Italy, one of the most important events in karting, which attracted 300 drivers from 41 countries. The 15-year-old became the only woman to reach the final in the senior category, finishing the weekend in 17th place. Çebi, who contested 20 races in total in 2023, 15 in Europe and five in Turkey, and was the only woman competing in the OKN World Cup, will continue her season with Round 1 of the WSK Open Cup, also in Italy, on 4-7 April.
