Favourites Untroubled at Çankaya

Round 4 of the 2019 Turkish Hill Climb Championship, organised by the Ankara Otomobil Sporları Kulübü in Çankaya in memory of the late rally driver Hasan Kalaycı, was completed with a successful event.
Run over three runs on a 6 km tarmac course, the event saw Çağlar Ünüvar take victory in Category 2 with an Opel Astra GSI, while Nizamettin Kaynak, driving a Fiat Palio Kit Car for BC Vision Motorsport, finished second and Ramazan Ekiz, in a Fiat Palio for GP Garage My Team, took third.
In Category 3, which was a battle between Renault Sport Clios, Ankara's Refik Bozkurt was the fastest driver of the day, with Ayhan Germirli of BC Vision Motorsport second and Erdal Etyemez third on the podium. In Category 4, which featured a duel between two cars, Emin Cem Yalın, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX for GP Garage My Team, took the class win and the fastest time award. Tuğrul Köselerden was second in Category 4 with a Seat Leon Supercopa, and the event's Best Team award went to GP Garage My Team.
The awards for the top finishers were presented by Tuna Kalaycı, wife and co-driver of Hasan Kalaycı, the Ankara-based 1980 Turkish Rally Champion who lost his life in a tragic road accident, together with ANOK officials.
