Yağız Avcı Triumphs at Yeşil Bursa Rally

The 43rd Yeşil Bursa Rally, fourth round of the 2018 Turkish Rally Championship, organised by the Bursa Automobile Sports Club (BOSSEK) with Atış Yapı as title sponsor and the support of Nilüfer Municipality, ended in victory for the Yağız Avcı-Onur Vatansever crew, competing for Ford Motorsport Turkey.Burak Çukurova-Vedat Bostancı, competing for BC Vision Motorsport, took second place by 7.4 seconds, while third went to another Ford Motorsport Turkey crew, Deniz Fahri-Bahadır Gücenmez. The class winners were Fatih Kara-Bilge Ayan in Class 3, driving a Fiat Egea for FIAT Motorsporları; Ümit Can Özdemir-Batuhan Memişyazıcı in Class 4, driving a Ford Fiesta R2 for Ford Motorsport Turkey; and Mustafa Çakal-Mehmet Köleoğlu in Class N, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX for GP Garage My Team. The award for youngest driver and co-driver went to Onat Telkenar-Efe Eryalaz, who compete in the Egea Youth Cup with the support of TOSFED and FIAT as winners of the TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor project.
In the Historic Rally classification, Levent Gür-Oytun Albayrak took the win in a Murat 131, while in the Ali Sipahi Rally Cup the fastest crew was Hakan Ertarman-Yunus Emre Bol from Bursa, driving a Renault Clio Ragnotti.

The awards for the rally's leading competitors were presented at a ceremony held in front of the Aloft Bursa Hotel, one of the event's sponsors.
