Good News from Rally Bulgaria

The Murat Bostancı/Onur Vatansever crew from Castrol Ford Team Türkiye took victory on Rally Bulgaria, a round of the European Rally Trophy held on 17-19 July.

Following the European Rally Trophy this season, Murat Bostancı/Onur Vatansever won in their Ford Fiesta R5, which they were driving for the first time, finishing 39.6 seconds ahead of Rashid Al Ketbi/Karina Hepperle from the United Arab Emirates, who were competing in a similar car. Bulgaria's Boris Grigorov/Angel Bashkehaiov, who also took part in the Eskişehir Battalgazi Rally in the 2013 season, finished third in a Citroen C2 S1600. Another Turkish representative, Erkan Güral/Aras Dinçer, finished seventh overall and also carried Class N second-place points into the Turkish Rally Championship.

Murat Bostancı, last year's Turkish Rally Champion, who will represent Turkey in this demanding series, is now preparing to push the limits to clinch the European Rally Trophy title with the points he will earn on Rally Bosphorus, the country's most important international event.
