Bostancı and Banaz Ready for ERC Challenge

Turkey's championship-winning rally team, Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, is continuing its preparations at full throttle for the European Rally Championship, which gets under way this April.

In addition to six manufacturers' titles won since 2011, the team has claimed four drivers' titles, four co-drivers' titles, five junior titles and three two-wheel-drive rally championship titles. From the 2017 season onwards, it has set itself a new target: the European Rally Championship title...

The European Rally Championship, which begins in April and ends in October, consists of eight events in total, four on gravel and four on tarmac. Castrol Ford Team Türkiye will represent Turkey in the 2017 European Rally Championship with national drivers Murat Bostancı-Onur Vatansever (Ford Fiesta R5) and Buğra Banaz-Burak Erdener (Ford Fiesta R2T), contesting the following rallies:

Azores Rally - Portugal / 30 March-1 April
Rally Islas Canarias - Spain / 4-6 May
SEAJETS Acropolis Rally - Greece / 2-4 June
Cyprus Rally - Cyprus / 16-18 June
Rally Rzeszow - Poland / 3-5 August
Barum Czech Rally Zlín - Czech Republic / 25-27 August
Rally di Roma Capitale - Italy / 15-17 September
Rally Liepāja - Latvia / 6-8 October
