Celebrities and Volunteers Come Together at Bodrum
Rally Bodrum, the second round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2025 Turkish Rally Championship, was organised by Karya Otomobil Spor Kulübü (KAROSK) from 17-19 April.
Held for the fifth time this year, the event began by offering guests the chance to experience a rally in the co-driver's seat alongside GP Garage My Team drivers Uğur Soylu, Ümit Can Özdemir and Sinan Soylu. After the co-drive event, the well-known actors Aslı Bekiroğlu, Arda Anarat, Türkü Su Demirel, Ali Gözüşirin, Merve Nur Bengi, Çağla Şimşek and Gizem Sevim took part in a welcome-to-summer party and the start ceremony.
Rally Bodrum celebrated its fifth anniversary with a special party for invited guests at Palmalife Resort & SPA Bodrum, where attendees welcomed the summer against the backdrop of Palmalife's panoramic views.
With 150 motorsport-loving volunteers and marshals on duty at Rally Bodrum, a total of 47 cars and 94 competitors, along with team managers and mechanic crews, meant around 1,500 people experienced the excitement of rallying in Bodrum.
Duja Hotels was the rally headquarters and accommodation sponsor of the event, while technology and experience were provided by Nothing Türkiye. Duja Hotels Sales and Marketing Coordinator Volkan Gökay said: "Rally Bodrum is a great opportunity both for promoting the destination and for kicking off the tourism season early. Our sponsorship has now continued for three years. We will keep up our partnership in the coming years in order to deliver unique experiences, which is our slogan."
Speaking about the event, Nothing Türkiye Brand Manager İrfan Öztürk said: "Speed, competition and power may be what come to mind when people think of rallying, but it carries a slightly different meaning for us. Rallying is really a journey that is immersed in nature and steps outside the ordinary. The competitors are not just moving along the tarmac, but beyond their own limits. We see this journey as an expression of 'the courage to be different'. We believe we have the same courage in our products and our vision. The spirit of Rally Bodrum also matches Nothing's values: going beyond limits, leaving prejudices behind and making the road not just fast, but meaningful."
At the Rally Bodrum organisation, the 'awards with a story' principle that has continued since the first year was maintained again this year. Trophies made up of columns and amphorae, inspired by the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (the monumental tomb built in Bodrum around 350 BC for the Carian ruler Mausolos, and one of the Seven Wonders of the World), found a special place on the shelves of the competitors who shared the top three places in the overall classification.
