Besler and Kolot in Belgium

Central and Eastern European Champion and national karting driver Berkay Besler has added another international success to the list. Besler took an important victory for Turkey in the opening race of the International Belgium Max Challenge, one of the five different series the driver will contest this season.
Berkay Besler, who caught everyone's attention with the performance shown at the Winter Cup in Spain, was among the favourites for this event as well. In qualifying on the 1,360-metre Genk circuit, our representative set the best time with a 55.208 and took pole position. In the first of the 16-lap finals, Berkay Besler did not lose position and produced an excellent race, taking the chequered flag first with a time of 15:01.867.
FIFTH PLACE FOR ÖMER ASAF
Another young national driver who will follow the International Belgium Max Challenge this season, Ömer Asaf Kolot, finished fifth in the Mini class. Competing for the first time at the Genk circuit in Belgium, the young driver reached the top-five target among experienced rivals, also signalling that a podium is very close in the upcoming races.
