Berkay Heads to Hungary Chasing Title

Competing in three different championships this season and close to a fourth consecutive title in the Turkish Karting Championship, Berkay Besler added another big success in one of the series representing the country, winning the fourth round of the Central and Eastern Europe Rotax Max Challenge in the Czech Republic. That result lifted Besler to the top of the Senior class overall standings by 14 points, a major advantage in the fight for the title.
With the performances having not gone unnoticed by the authorities, Berkay is aiming to become champion in the fifth and final round of the series, to be held at the Pannonia-Ring circuit on Sunday 20 September, and give Turkey another international victory. In the CEE Rotax Max Challenge, in which Besler sits first on 334 points, the Austrian drivers follow: Daniel Machacek is second on 320 points, Niki Kresse third on 310 points and Mick Wishofer fourth on 300 points.
