BCVM Launches New Season

Having raised its sights high in 2017, BC Vision Motorsport is preparing to take to the stages with new crews and new cars. Founded by Burak Çukurova, who celebrates his 26th year in motorsport this season, the team has set the target of a championship title in every category for its second year. Unlike other teams, BCVM offers a turnkey service, and in 2017 it aims to win the Turkish Rally Team Championship and the Turkish Rally Championship, as well as the Class 4, Class N, 2WD and Women Drivers categories, and to start events abroad and finish on the podium.

Speaking at the press launch held at Feraye Restaurant on 21 March, team director Burak Çukurova said: "Our biggest task in 2017 will be to develop the system we first introduced in Turkey in 2016 and to give pleasure to both the spectators and the crews. We are very excited to be working together again with Skoda, who were our sponsor in previous years. From the crews' overalls to their testing, from training with European Champion drivers to our dedicated transporters, from practice cars to foreign engineers and crews, our greatest wish will be to reach the successes we have targeted with a full 4/4 service concept. This year Ahmet Burkay and Burak Akçay, who were with us last year and are both very fast and very special people, will fight for the Class 4 and 2WD championships. The Uğur Soylu-Aras Dinçer pairing, whom we signed this season, will compete for victories and the Team Championship in an R5 car. Likewise, Erkan Güral-Burak Koçoğlu, who have also joined the team this season, will work hard to reach the top of Class N, a category they know very well. The Burcu Çetinkaya Bucak-Emire Cantürk Eren crew, who have also joined us this season, will compete for the Women's Championship. The support given to us by our team sponsors Skoda Türkiye, Punto Restaurant, Ibis Hotels, Saygılı Rulman, OtoStil magazine, Car magazine, Demor, NG Kütahya Seramik, EVOBT and Omak Lift is very valuable. We hope to represent our sponsors in the best possible way at home and abroad. One of our goals this year is to take part in five events abroad, both to promote our country and to broaden our drivers' horizons. We will start the season at the San Remo Rally in Italy on 30 March-1 April with three crews and our Hyundai i20 R5, Skoda Fabia R5 and Renault Clio S1600 cars.
