Başlık Ready for a 2017 Full of Novelties

With just days to go until the Saygılı Rulman Aegean Rally, the season opener of the 2017 Turkish Rally Championship, crews have begun unveiling the cars they will be driving in the new season.

Bursa-based driver Burak Başlık, who will compete this year in both the Turkish Rally Championship and the Ford Motorsport Fiesta Cup, has shared photos of the new car with followers on social media after its branding was completed.

Başlık, who will follow only the rally championship this year, took the wheel of the Ford Fiesta R2 for the first time at the Hitit Rally, the final rally of the 2016 season, and drew attention with the car's stage times. Another novelty for the driver will be in the right-hand seat... Sevilay Genç, who has held the title of Turkey's fastest female co-driver for the last two years, will co-drive for Burak Başlık with the aim of making it three in a row.

Burak, the Turkish Hill Climb Class 1 Champion for the last two years and a driver who drew attention with his performance in the Champions' Championship event, where he rose as high as the top eight, will compete with Hankook as title sponsor and with the support of AES, Eden In Teos, Tech Plus and Yenigelenler.
