Capital Drivers to Climb for the Cup

The Başkent Hill Climb, the first result of the Ankara Automobile Sports Club ANOK's goal of "increasing the number of racing events and competitors in Ankara and the surrounding area", gets under way on 30 April 2017 from Kömürcü Village in the Çankaya district. The club was founded in 1989.

Organised with the support of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and with MANİFOLD Garaj and Doğan Tel Örgü as title sponsors, the event will begin at 14.00, following practice runs between 11.30 and 13.00. Contested over three runs on the 6-kilometre Çankaya hill climb course, the event will bring together Ankara's veteran competitors and drivers taking their first steps in the sport.

In the Başkent Hill Climb, the first of three local hill climb events to be organised in Ankara, competitors will score points as they fight for a place in the Ankara Hill Climb Cup standings at the end of the season.
