Having closed the 2018 season as Class 1 runners-up among drivers and Class 1 winners among co-drivers, and now competing in Class 3 with new vehicles this year, Bantboru Offroad Team finished the fifth round of the 2019 Turkish Off-road Championship, held in Sinop on 9-10 November, third in its class, adding another podium to its record. Bantboru Back on the Podium in SinopBantboru Offroad Team set the day's fastest time in the forest stage on the opening day. Mechanical problems on both days failed to dampen the team's determination. Never giving up the fight under its Competitive Performance motto, the crew of İlayda Hancı Korkut and Batuhan Korkut completed the event third in class and held on to third place in the class standings with one round remaining.
Bantboru Back on the Podium in SinopFounded in 2017, Bantboru Offroad Team competes with İlayda Hancı Korkut, the only female off-road class winner in the country, behind the wheel. Batuhan Korkut serves as co-driver. This season the team is competing in the Turkish Off-road Championship with vehicles built on the Mitsubishi L200. Bantboru Back on the Podium in SinopThe final round of the Turkish Off-road Championship will take place in Kahramanmaraş on 30 November-1 December. Holding third place in its class in the championship and maintaining its challenge, Bantboru Offroad Team is aiming for another podium in the finale.
