Baja Championship Kicks Off in Bursa

The opening round of the 2023 Turkish Baja Championship, Baja Resital, will be organised in Bursa by Bursa Alternatif Sporlar Spor Kulübü (BASK) on 29-30 September and 1 October, with ICRYPEX as title sponsor and the support of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. The event begins with a ceremonial start in front of Sur Yapı Marka AVM at 16:00 on Friday 29 September 2023, with 25 4x4 off-road vehicles and 50 competitors set to do battle. Baja Resital puts endurance and adrenaline to the fore, and the competitors will sweat it out on tough special stages totalling 220 km, run at altitudes ranging from 120 to 1000 metres. The event can be watched on Saturday and Sunday from the spectator area to be set up in the Muradiyesarnıç neighbourhood of Kemalpaşa district, while the service area will be in Mustafakemalpaşa Municipality Square. Following the BASK spectator stage, which starts at 16:30 on Friday 29 September in the Dağyenice reservoir area, one of Bursa's natural wonders, the Maceraist stage in the Muradiyesarnıç area of Kemalpaşa district will be run twice on Saturday 30 September. The event continues on Sunday 1 October with the BAV-ISUZU special stage in the Karapınar area, and finishes the same day from 16:45 in front of the Aloft Hotel.
