Close Battle at Baja Resital
Baja Resital, organised by Bursa Alternatif Sporlar Kulübü (BASK) with Resital Türkiye Gayrimenkul as title sponsor and the support of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, took place in Bursa from 10-12 October.
The second round of the Burhan Turan 2025 Turkish Baja Championship, an event with more than 200 people working on its organisation, saw 26 vehicles and 52 competitors take part.
On stages made tougher by rain, Baja Resital produced a close fight. In the SSV class, Diren Üykü-Caner Çapar took the win, with Abdullah Turgut-Arda Şenay finishing second and Engin Kap-Ferhat Atabek Özdemir third.
In the car class, Alper Sarper-Can Özkurt won, Giuseppe Simone Agazzi-Serkan Sivri took second and Rahmi Erkan-Mert Kaya third. The Sarper-Özkurt crew also won Class 4, while Atilla Baybara-Cüneyt Göktürk took the Class 3 win and Rahmi Erkan-Mert Kaya won Class 2.
The Burhan Turan 2025 Turkish Baja Championship continues with Baja Perge, which will be held in Antalya on 1-2 November.
