Father and Son Kolot Take to the Track

The event will be run across four separate categories: Formula Mini, open to competitors aged 7-12, Formula Junior for 13-16-year-olds, Formula Senior for those over 15 and Formula Master for those over 32. It will begin with free practice at 09:00, followed by three races, and conclude with the prize-giving ceremony at 17:00.
Süleyman Kolot, who began his sporting career in the 2013 Turkish Karting Championship, and his 10-year-old son Ömer Asaf Kolot are among those who will take the start in the 2016 Turkish Karting Championship. The young national driver Ömer Asaf Kolot will contest 17 races this season, across the Turkish Karting Championship (seven races), the Belgian Rotax Max Challenge (six races) and the Belgian BNL Karting Series (four races).
