Avcı Named on FIA Priority Drivers List

Red Bull driver Yağız Avcı, winner of the 2017 European Rally Trophy, has earned a place on the FIA priority drivers list, which features 44 drivers who have enjoyed success in the World and European Rally Championships.

The priority drivers were previously split into A and B categories, then into Priority 1 and Priority 2 in subsequent years, before a recent format change returned the list to a single group. Avcı's status will remain valid until 31.12.2020.

Castrol Ford Team Türkiye driver Murat Bostancı, another Turkish competitor on the list, also held the status until the end of the 2018 season after winning the 2015 European Rally Trophy.
