Big Win at Rally Croatia

Castrol Ford Team Türkiye produced a highly successful performance at Rally Croatia, where it arrived with the aim of winning the world title. Based in Rijeka and known for its changeable asphalt stages, muddy, slippery surfaces and unpredictable weather, the demanding event saw the crew of Ali Türkkan and Oytun Albayrak take a double victory and carry the Turkish flag to the top.

The crew drove the rally with great composure and consistency from start to finish, and also came through the Power Stage, where every second brought enormous excitement and bonus points were on offer, with flying colours to claim victory in both the Junior WRC and WRC3 categories. The high morale from their win at Marmaris Aegean Rally the previous week, together with the right car set-up, paid off on Croatia's tough roads.

Ali Türkkan and Oytun Albayrak, who earned Turkey third place in the world in the 2024 and 2025 seasons and last year became the first young Turkish crew to win in a WRC category at the Acropolis Rally, took this success a step further. With this result, Türkkan and Albayrak became the first Turkish crew to stand on the top step of the podium twice in the WRC arena, while also closing the points gap to championship leader Calle Carlberg.

This historic victory was also a source of particular pride for Murat Bostancı, who won Rally Croatia in 2015 to become European Rally Cup champion, making the country proud, and who now coaches the team. Combined with Bostancı's experience, the engineering and strategic strength of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye has moved the crew another step closer to its goal of the world championship title.
