Türkkan-Albayrak Score Double Win on Acropolis Rally

Ali Türkkan and Oytun Albayrak, competing for Castrol Ford Team Türkiye in a Ford Fiesta Rally3, finished first in both the Junior WRC and WRC3 classes on Acropolis Rally, round seven of the FIA 2025 World Rally Championship.

Red Bull athlete Türkkan moved into a strong position in the fight for the World Junior Championship with this victory, and also became the first Turkish driver to win an event in JWRC history.

Another young driver contesting the championship, Kerem Kazaz, competed in Greece with Corentin Silvestre for Team Petrol Ofisi and reached the finish fourth in both the Junior WRC and WRC3 classes.

Uğur Soylu, who took the wheel in the Masters category on Acropolis Rally, competed with Şener Güray for GP Garage My Team. Soylu led for the first three days, but lost time after sustaining damage on the final stage on Saturday, dropping to second, and finished the rally as Masters runner-up.
