Türkkan-Albayrak Unlucky in Portugal

Castrol Ford Team Türkiye crew Ali Türkkan-Oytun Albayrak, representing Turkey in the FIA Junior World Rally Championship, endured an unlucky event in Portugal.

The crew completed the opening day having continued through the whole of Friday with a loss of power after sustaining damage. Türkkan-Albayrak then retired on the second day of the rally with a mechanical problem, but rejoined under Super Rally for the final day with the aim of scoring championship points, and reached the finish in ninth place in Junior WRC.

Following Rally Portugal, Ali sits sixth in the Junior World Rally Championship standings with 15 points.
