Sezer Receives Friendship Award in Ukraine

The season champions and winners of the Kubok Limanov (Port Cup) in the 2016 Ukrainian Rally Championship will receive their awards at a ceremony to be held at the Grand Europe in Odessa Yacht Port on 17 December 2016.
At the awards ceremony, Selami Sezer, the Turkish competitor who lives and races in Odessa, will also receive a friendship award from Viktor Şapovalov, president of the Odessa Automobile Club.
Ahead of the awards evening, which is expected to be attended by Ukrainian state officials, Sezer said: "For us, motorsport is a never-ending passion. During the more than 10 years I have spent in Ukraine, both individually and in the events we have entered since forming the Turkish Volunteer Rally Team, we have closely felt the sympathy and friendship of the Ukrainian people. In that respect, as a volunteer from Turkey, I believe we have done the right thing by taking part in rallies here for 10 years. On this occasion, I sincerely thank TOSFED, especially through Serkan Yazıcı, as well as businessman Murat Gönültaş and everyone who has supported us."
