Sezer Competes in Severin Rally

Selami Sezer, who has been competing in Ukrainian national championships for almost 10 years with the Turkish volunteer rally team he founded, continues his campaign by taking the start of the Severin Rally, part of the Ukrainian National Liman Cup Rally Championship, on the Severin route in the Odessa Region on 16-17 April 2016. The Liman Cup is an event Sezer paused last year after receiving a friendship award.
Selami Sezer said: "At this rally, after another long break, we will continue our voluntary promotional activities on behalf of our country. Drivers from various countries will be taking part, and the opening and closing promotional meetings will give us the chance to promote the 15-16 May 2016 Turkey Rally Marmaris as well. That makes this rally especially valuable to us. As we have done most of the time, we have again put the Turkish volunteer rally team together relying solely on our own financial means. Another of our traditions will be Turkish flags, T-shirt gifts and sweet treats at the service and opening areas. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our media sponsors, starting with you, as well as my dear friend Viktor Shapovalov, president of the Ukraine Odessa Automobile Club, who has not withheld his support over the years so that the Turkish volunteer rally team can compete in Ukraine, and Murat Gönültaş, owner of the textile company The Brothers, who mobilised his resources to provide our clothing for the Turkish volunteer rally team, for his contribution to the promotion of Turkey."
