Champion Behind the Wheel of an EVO IX

2018 Turkish Circuit Racing Super Group champion Ersin Yücesan takes the wheel this weekend in Sarıkamış for a first taste of rallying. Competing in Sarıkamış Rally alongside co-driver Doğukan Topkaya, Yücesan will contest Class 3 for Neo Motorspor in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX in ERS MOTORS 3D colours.
The rally will be run on snow- and ice-covered roads over a 122.84km route, and comprises six special stages totalling 52.93km. The event begins on Friday 8 March with the recce between 12:00 and 17:00, while scrutineering will take place on Saturday between 12:00 and 13:30. On Saturday 9 March, the crews will tackle the 19.35km Şehitler stage and the 2.04km Kristal Spectator Stage, both located in Yukarı Sarıkamış.
On the morning of Sunday 10 March, the crews start the day from 10:30, running the Köşk (9.00km) and Soğuksu (8.20km) stages before reaching the service park, which will be based in the Sarıkamış Kütük Ev car park. The crews will then run the same two stages once more, before finishing the rally from 14:50 at the Grand Toprak Hotel, which also serves as rally headquarters.
