Rally Turkey, the fifth round of the 2020 FIA World Rally Championship, also played host to the first two rounds of the 2020 Turkish Rally Championship, with 37 crews taking part. In the demanding rally, Yağız Avcı-Onur Vatansever, competing in a Red Bull-backed Citroen C3 R5 for Adus Motorsport, finished first in both rounds to make a fast start to the championship.Rally Season Opens in MarmarisToksport WRT crew Orhan Avcıoğlu-Burçin Korkmaz, in a Skoda Fabia R5, finished second in both rounds, while third place went to BC Vision Motorsport's Burak Çukurova-Burak Akçay, also in a Skoda Fabia R5. There was fierce competition in the classes in both rallies. Emre Hasbay-Candaş Uzun of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, in a Ford Fiesta R2T, won Class 4, the Two-Wheel Drive and the Young Drivers classifications in both rounds of the championship, while the Class 5 winners of both rounds were Yiğit Timur-Ufuk Uluocak, driving a Renault Clio RS Rally 5 for Toksport WRT.
