Orhan and Burçin Make a Fast Start in WRC2

Making their first World Rally Championship start at Rally RACC Catalunya, held in Catalonia, Spain, on 6-8 October, Toksport WRT crew Orhan Avcıoğlu-Burçin Korkmaz finished eighth in the WRC2 class with a Skoda Fabia R5.In a post on social media after the rally, Avcıoğlu said: "We had an unforgettable week. We entered Rally Catalunya to gain experience, and every stage was a new experience, and we learned a great deal. Finishing the rally eighth in WRC2 was the icing on the cake. Many thanks to my brother Burçin Korkmaz, who put his trust in me, and to Toksport WRT."
Orhan Avcıoğlu-Burçin Korkmaz will start Marmaris Rally Turkey on 20-22 October with the Skoda Fabia R5, the final round of the Balkan Rally Cup within the European Rally Cup, which they currently lead. Their second outing in the World Rally Championship WRC2 class will be Rally GB in Great Britain, the final rally of the season, on 17-19 November.
