Kerem Kazaz Reviews His 2024 Season
Reigning Turkish Rally Champion Kerem Kazaz, who is preparing to represent Turkey in the FIA World Rally Championship for Juniors this season on behalf of Team Petrol Ofisi, looked back on 2024 for turkmotorspor.com readers and shared his goals for 2025.
Sarıkamış Rally
We began the 2024 season with big ambitions at Sarıkamış Rally. It was wonderful to have such a great snow rally in Turkey, and I was very excited before the event. Although we made a lot of mistakes, we enjoyed it enormously and we won. Starting the season with a win was great for us.
Favourite stage: SS 2-5 - Remed Assistance
Marmaris Aegean Rally
At Marmaris I had my first tarmac Rally2 experience. I struggled a lot and made some mistakes. We finished the rally in sixth, but I learned a great deal and gained valuable experience.
Favourite stage: SS 8 Kuyucak
Rally Bodrum
At Rally Bodrum, our second tarmac event, I gained confidence and raised my pace. I got to know the car better and took important points by finishing third overall.
Favourite stage: SS 9-12 Petrol Ofisi Maxima
Yeşil Bursa Rally
We went to Bursa aiming to compete at an even faster pace, but a puncture dropped us to third. It was a good tarmac experience and a learning rally for us.
Favourite stage: SS 5-7 Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye
ESOK Rally
As we began the gravel rallies, we switched to the Hyundai i20 Rally2 ahead of Eskişehir. After a good adaptation event abroad, we got the car into good shape in testing. We set good times and it was a very enjoyable rally for us.
Favourite stage: SS 9-11 Banaz
Kocaeli Rally
Kocaeli was a rally where I aimed to stay calm, take no risks and focus on finishing. On the second day we lost a lot of time on one stage after a puncture and a broken wheel. We finished second and took good points, and the championship fight was left to Istanbul.
Favourite stage: SS 6-8 Remed Assistance
Istanbul Rally
I came to the rally under great stress, but I concentrated well. I started very calmly, pushed on some stages I had chosen in advance to set good times, and followed my rivals on the remaining stages. I learned that winning while driving this calmly is a different experience.

2025 Goals
This season, on behalf of Team Petrol Ofisi, starting with the FIA 2025 World Rally Championship for Juniors, I want to do my very best in the events we enter, represent our country in the best possible way and achieve even greater success.
