Kazaz Extends Turkish Rally Championship Lead
The 50th Yeşil Bursa Rally, the third round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2026 Turkish Rally Championship, ended in victory for Team Petrol Ofisi's Kerem Kazaz-Corentin Silvestre, who set the fastest time on seven of the nine stages.
Also taking Class 2, young driver and Power Stage wins, Kazaz followed up his Rally Bodrum victory with another in Bursa in the Hyundai i20N Rally2 to extend his lead in the championship.
Forty-four crews reached the finish of the rally, with Burak Çukurova-Burak Akçay of BC Vision Egemot Motorsport taking second on the podium, while third place went to Uğur Soylu-Mehmet Akif Yalçın, competing for GP Garage My Team with EVOFONE support.
Berkay Erdoğan-Muhammed Mataracı were the 2WD and Class 4 winners, and the crew also won the Remed Special Award.
The other class winners were Hüseyin Çetmen-Soner Çevik in Class 3, Uğur Kaban-Melih Uygun in Class 5 and Sevgi Aktürk-Begüm Uludağ in Class N, with Aktürk-Uludağ also taking the female driver and female co-driver wins.
The Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2026 Turkish Rally Championship continues with the fourth round, Cappadocia Rally, organised by Başkent Turing Spor Kulübü on 22-23 August.
