Kazaz Ends Season With Victory
The seventh and final round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2025 Turkish Rally Championship, the 42nd Kocaeli Büyükşehir Rally organised by the Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club, ended in victory for the Kerem Kazaz-Corentin Silvestre crew from Team Petrol Ofisi.
Having already secured the drivers' championship title after Rally Istanbul, Kazaz completed the season with an overall win, also taking the junior drivers' and Class 2 victories. In the rally, which featured 39 cars and 78 competitors, the Castrol Ford Team Türkiye crew of Ali Türkkan-Oytun Albayrak finished second, while Uğur Soylu-Ali Emre Yılmaz of GP Garage My Team took third at the finish.
In the rally, where Team Petrol Ofisi won the teams' title, the class wins were shared between Ali Türkkan-Oytun Albayrak in Class 3, Hüseyin Çetmen-Çağlar Süren in Class 4 and two-wheel drive, Okan Öztürk-Hakan Uçuçu in Class N and Uğur Kaban-Mert Kaya in Class 5. The Sevgi Aktürk-Begüm Uludağ crew took the female driver and co-driver wins.
In the Berç Arhanyan Rally Cup classification, the Ömer Güneş-Sevi Akal crew took the overall and Category 3 victories, with Eren Durmaz-Burak Koç second and winning Category 2, and Baran Demirkan-Tarık Doğançay third. Çiğdem Tümerkan won Category 1 and the female drivers' award, while Sevi Akal was the best female co-driver.
