Kazaz Cements Championship Lead at Bursa

The 49th Yeşil Bursa Rally, round three of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2025 Turkish Rally Championship organised by the Bursa Automobile Sports Club (BOSSEK), ended in victory for Kerem Kazaz-Corentin Silvestre of Team Petrol Ofisi. Kazaz also took the young drivers' and Class 2 wins, and retains the championship lead after the event. Buğra Banaz-Onur Ahıskalı, who had shared the lead with Kazaz on equal points going into Bursa, were forced to leave the third round without points after a mechanical problem on the first day.

Over nine special stages in the Orhaneli-Keles region, second place overall went to Ümit Can Özdemir-Kutay Ertuğrul of GP Garage My Team, while Ali Türkkan-Oytun Albayrak of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye took third overall and the Class 3 win.

The event, sponsored by Atış Yapı and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, with the support of Spor Toto, ICRYPEX, Remed Assistance, Salados, Fora Araç Takip, PowerApp, Autoclub, aloft Hotel Bursa, Özhan Marketler Zinciri, İnallar, Mavi Yeşil, Sadrettin Şengül, Buket and Digiwuu, concluded on Sunday 25 May with a finish ceremony in front of aloft Bursa.

Over the two days and 494 kilometres of the rally, Hüseyin Çetmen-Çağlar Süren won Class 4 and the 2WD category, Okan Öztürk-Hakan Uçucu of GP Garage My Team won Class N, and Sevcan Sağıroğlu-Güray Akgün of Atış Motorspor won Class 5. The master drivers' win went to Uğur Soylu of GP Garage My Team, the female drivers' win to Eda Soylu of the same team, and the female co-drivers' win to Begüm Uludağ.
In the TOSFED Rally Cup classification, held this year in memory of Berç Arhanyan, Yaman Yılmaz-Ali Emre Yılmaz took the win, and the crew also finished first in Category 3. Alptekin Işıkalp-Sevilay Genç took second in the cup, while Akın Can Kiper-Murat Yılmaz finished third and won Category 2. Sinan Yardımedici-Yeşim Alıç lifted the winners' trophy in Category 4 and brothers İsmail and İbrahim Cabacı did so in Category 1, while Çiğdem Tümerkan won the female drivers' award and Sevilay Genç the female co-drivers' award.

The Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2025 Turkish Rally Championship continues with Cappadocia Rally, the first gravel round of the 2025 Ömer Tolon season, to be held in Nevşehir on 12-13 July.
