Karting Excitement Delivered at Tuzla

Round two of the MOTUL 2025 Turkish Karting Championship was held on 10-11 May in Istanbul, organised by Tuzla Motorsporları Kulübü (TMK) with the support of Spor Toto, ICRYPEX and Tuzla Municipality. The event featured a total of 52 competitors across five different classes, with qualifying and heat races run on Saturday in all classes, followed by the semi-finals and finals on Sunday.

In the finals, broadcast live on HT Spor, Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport's Zayn Sofuoğlu took his first win in the Micro class, which is open to drivers under the age of nine, while Ali Ersin Yücesan finished second and Aras Pınar completed the podium in third.

Karting Excitement Delivered at Tuzla

In the Mini class, victory went to Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport's Cem Karakömür, with Doruk Sırnaç second and Ali Sururi Akgün third. In the Junior class, which attracted 16 drivers, Dynamic Racing Team's Erin Ünlüdoğan took the win, while Ali Fuat Miras finished the weekend second and Demir Sağım third.

In the Senior class, Emre Ergör Karting Team's Ateş Birinci claimed the first win of his career, followed by Onur Müldür in second and Ayşe Çebi in third. Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport driver Ayşe also stepped onto the podium as the leading woman. Dynamic Racing Team won the teams' classification for the round, extending its lead in the championship teams' standings.

The MOTUL 2025 Turkish Karting Championship will continue with round three on 26-27 July, organised by Kütahya Çini Spor Kulübü (KÇSK), again at Tuzla Karting Park.
