Sprint Hill Climb Time in Izmir

The 2017 Izmir Cup will continue on Sunday 29 October with a sprint hill climb. The Işıkkent Sprint Hill Climb will be organised by the Aydın Automobile Sports Club (AYOSK) in Işıkkent, Bornova, with Ege Asal Metal as sponsor.
The event will be run on a 2,500-metre gravel course and will begin with scrutineering at 09:00 on Sunday 29 October, followed by a practice run between 11:00 and 11:30. The Işıkkent Sprint Hill Climb will be run over two runs, in two separate sessions between 12:15 and 16:30, and will conclude with the prize-giving ceremony at 17:15.AYOSK President Kuvvet Erim said that the gravel hill climb, being held for the first time in a long while thanks to the financial and moral support of Mithat Diker, has created great excitement among motorsport fans and drivers, and invited Izmir's motorsport enthusiasts to come and watch the event.

Ahead of this event in the 2017 Izmir Cup, Yüksel Duvarcı leads Category 1, Cem Doğrular leads Category 2, Erdal Oral leads Category 3 and Yonca Güngör leads the Women's category.
