Gamgam Wins Historic Class

Three historic cars competed on the 40th Kocaeli Büyükşehir Rally, the sixth round of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2023 Turkish Historic Rally Championship. The class, which is open to classic rally cars over 30 years old, and the Category 2 win went to Kemal Gamgam-Orkun Demir, who drove an Opel Kadett GTE for Parkur Racing. Second in the Historic class and the Category 1 win went to Tan Çağlayan-Selda Çağlayan in a Peugeot 205 GTI.The Tarinen-Efe Ersoy crew, who still lead the championship in this class, were unable to finish the rally after an electrical failure on their Ford Escort MKII.
