Petrol Ofisi Backs Young Kazaz

Petrol Ofisi Group, which has been the main sponsor of the Turkish Rally Championship for two years through its Maxima brand, has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Turkey's youngest rally champion, Kerem Kazaz. Under the agreement between Petrol Ofisi and Kerem Kazaz, the successful young driver will compete in all national and international events under the 'Team Petrol Ofisi' banner. This season, the young Kazaz will start by contesting the opening round of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship for Juniors (JWRC), Rally Sweden, on 13-16 February alongside Corentin Silvestre for 'Team Petrol Ofisi'.

Speaking about the sponsorship, Petrol Ofisi Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Murat Zengin said: "As Petrol Ofisi Group, in line with our brand communication strategy, we see it as a mission to support Turkish sport and to contribute to our country's potential and future by standing alongside young talent." Zengin said the company was delighted with the sponsorship agreement with Kazaz, adding: "We are fully confident that this journey will be a long-lasting one and will be crowned with many accolades."

Having won the titles of 'Youngest Rally Winner' and 'Youngest Turkish Rally Champion' in the 2024 season, young driver Kerem Kazaz aims to continue that success on the world stage, and stressed that Petrol Ofisi's support for him amounts to much more than a sponsorship deal. Kazaz said: "With the backing of a strong and well-established brand like Petrol Ofisi, representing Turkey in the world motorsport arena will be a great source of pride. I would like to thank Petrol Ofisi for being by my side and believing in me on this journey."
